Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Ideaflore ("the platform", "we", "us") you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Ideaflore is currently provided as an early-stage, invitation-only pilot.

2. Eligibility

Ideaflore is for adults only. You must be aged 18 or over to use the platform, and by using it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Intellectual Property

All platform software, design, branding, and content created for Ideaflore — including but not limited to source code, user-interface design, product concept, and visual identity — are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws and remain the property of their respective owners (which may include the University of Bristol and Ideaflore's founder). You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written permission.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content you grant Ideaflore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and deliver that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform and making it visible to the audiences you choose. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights, and for any licence (such as CC0) that you attach to it.

5. Permitted Use

The platform is invitation-only. You may not share your login credentials, attempt to circumvent access controls, scrape or systematically extract platform data, upload malicious code, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

You must also comply with our Community Standards, which set out what is and isn't acceptable on Ideaflore. Breaching them may lead to the actions described there — including making content private, hiding or removing it, or restricting or removing your account — and to termination under section 8.

6. AI Features

The platform includes AI-assisted features that generate text and interactive content. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is not professional, academic, legal, or medical advice. You are responsible for reviewing it and for anything you choose to publish. See the Privacy Policy for how AI prompts are processed.

7. Interactive Content Safety

User-created or AI-generated HTML runs inside a sandboxed frame and is not part of the main Ideaflore app. You may not upload interactive content that impersonates Ideaflore, presents fake login or payment screens, asks users for passwords or sensitive information, attempts to bypass the sandbox, or otherwise harms the platform or its users.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the platform or its users. You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimer

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that it will be error-free, or the accuracy or preservation of any content. As a pilot, features may change or be withdrawn.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
